Arsenal midfielder ‘set to leave’ in January for La Liga outfit

Arsenal star Jack Wilshere may be headed to Spain in the winter transfer window Wenger looks to make funds. Reports suggest that Real Betis are en route to securing Wilshere’s services at the start of 2018.

Wilshere is one of Arsene Wenger’s best talents and the boss wants to tie down the 25 year old to a new deal as early as possible. The midfielder is said to be unhappy with the amount of game time that he is getting with Arsenal having not started a single Premier League game this season. Wilshere would fare way better as a player in the less physical La Liga and would be an asset for Betis who are growing increasingly confident about getting their man.

Seeing their beloved player’s back will be hard for many Arsenal fans but it would mean there is more chance of the club going for Germany’s Leon Goretzka. Wenger needs new life in his midfield and he may offload Wilshere to make space for some of that.
