Bayern Munich pave way for Arsenal to snag £50m-rated winger

FC Bayern Munich have supposedly paved the way for Arsenal to snag FC Girondins de Bordeaux’s Malcolm in the summer transfer window, as the Bundesliga giants’ esteemed manager Jupp Heynckes has revealed that the domineering Bavarians are not ‘interested’ in the flourishing Brazilian winger.

The Gunners, along with fierce local rivals Tottenham Hotspur, were also touted in the running for Malcolm’s highly sought-after signature in January, although neither party – including Der FCB – was able to button down a deal for the searing 21-year-old offensive threat.

It’s also believed that Malcolm forged an agreement with his current employers which would allow him to leave the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux in the summer, however it’s become apparent that Germany, and more specifically the Allianz Arena, would have to be scrubbed off the list of possible destinations.

“I have never seen him play,” Heynckes admitted as per a report published by Metro. “Therefore, I am not able give an opinion on him.

“But I don’t think there is interest here. He always gets put into the shopping window but nobody really goes after him.”

Before Alexis Sanchez was used as a bartering tool to gain Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Manchester United in a straight swap deal, it’s said that Malcolm was at the top north-Londoners’ extensive wishlist.

Given that the Seleção U23 international has netted 8 times this term as well as providing his teammates with 7 assists, Bordeaux are not likely to let one of their star assets leave on the cheap, and it’s thought that the French outfit have subsequently slapped a hefty £50m price-tag on his head in order to repel any interest culminating from circling suitors.
