Italian boss will review future once Serie A season ends amid Arsenal interest
|Amid growing interest from Arsenal to land his studied services, Juventus’ Italian boss Max Allegri will supposedly review his future once the current Serie A season comes to a close, according to various reports (via talkSPORT).
Arsene Wenger is set to depart the dugout at the Emirates after 22 distinguished years and Allegri, who has two years left on his standing contract at the ‘Bianconeri’, is said to be one of the preferred candidates to take the reins from the Frenchman.
Allegri shepherded the ‘Old Lady’ towards their seventh consecutive Scudetto title and a fourth under his proven command following SSC Napoli’s 2-2 draw against Juve’s Turin-based rivals Torino FC on Sunday.
Clearly the 50-year-old manager’s bespoke approach to his profession harbours a winning formula, a calculated ability to achieve remarkable feats which the north-Londoners supposedly wish to lure away from the Juventus Stadium in the summer to usher in a new era.
Subsequently, as new potential challenges are becoming more predominant day by day, it’s thought that Allegri will indeed meet with club chairman Andrea Agnelli and CEO Guiseppe Marotta in order to determine his immediate future.
It’s widely believed that Juventus will strive to carve out a deal to ensure that Allegri remains at the Italian giants for the foreseeable, however if the sought-after leader was angling towards an exit, it’s said that they wouldn’t deny him the opportunity to test his strategic expertise elsewhere.
But, whilst the imminent vacancy at Arsenal is undoubtedly tantalising one, it’s been suggested that concerns have arisen amongst Allegri and fellow contender Luis Enrique regarding the new management structure at the Gunners and operating within its requirements and specifications.
