Arsenal striker’s agent issues update on client’s obscure future

Lucas Perez’s agent Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle has claimed that there has been ‘no contact’ from any potential suitor that’s supposedly interested in his seemingly surplus client and is insistent that the Spanish striker will remain a Gunner until further notice, hinting that the former Deportivo La Coruna man could have a future ahead of him at the Emirates under Unai Emery.

According to various reports, Perez is allegedly on SS Lazio’s radar and it’s since arisen that he’s also a target of Newcastle United and surprisingly Frosinone Calcio, who will grace the Serie A next term having gained promotion from Serie B.

When quizzed to whether there was any genuine substance in Frosinone’s proposed pursuit of Perez, 29, Lovelle conveyed to the media (via Calciomercato):

“for now, there is nothing – no contact”.

Perez’s tight-lipped representative was then asked if Lazio were still tailing Arsenal’s undervalued attacker and he issued this intriguing yet succinct reply:

“for now, [there is] only Arsenal”.

Lovelle’s brief responses have shrouded Perez’s career path in a great deal of obscurity, and though it’s thought that an exit from the north-Londoners is an inevitability before the window slams shut, all that could possibly be perceived from his obtuse utterances is that the diminutive attacker is indeed going nowhere anytime soon, despite noises from the press that suggest otherwise.
