Arsenal set sights on dynamic 20-year-old Senegal winger

As per a report published by the Mirror, Arsenal have supposedly set their sights on Stade Rennais FC’s dynamic 20-year-old winger Ismaila Sarr, who represented Senegal at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Knowing that Sarr will have his admirers, it’s said that Rennes will demand at least £20m from tailing suitors, including the Gunners, if the animated attacker is to be lured away from Roazhon Park in the January transfer window, although the French club are thought to be reluctant to part ways with the flourishing offensive threat in the new year.

With two goals in six Ligue 1 appearances to date, Sarr has been a devastating outlet for Les Rouges et Noirs along the left channel in particular and even netted a ferocious pile-driver against Jablonec during a 2-1 Europa League triumph last Thursday.

A direct, intrepid menace with the ball at his feet across the front line, Sarr has returned from the World Cup with a fresh sense of enthusiasm and is fully deserved of the attention he’s attracted from across Europe. Other than the north-Londoners, Serie A giants Inter Milan are also believed to be monitoring his development as the 2018-19 progresses.

Unai Emery will allegedly scour the market once it reopens to identify effective trailblazers to partner the likes to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in the final third, and if Sarr continues to turn heads with his proficient performances, the Spanish tactician could come knocking on Rennes’ door to test their reserve, especially if a mouth-watering figure is tabled for Sarr’s signature.
