Arsenal have provided an injury update on three players ahead of the Europa League meeting against Eintracht Frankfurt at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday.
The Gunners have been in a poor run of form since the October international break and they have managed just one victory from the past eight matches in all competitions.
As a result, manager Unai Emery is undoubtedly under immense pressure to turn the club’s fortunes but the Spaniard may not be without the services of three first-team stars.
Ahead of the Frankfurt clash, the Gunners have provided an update on the fitness of three players in Dani Ceballos, Sead Kolasinac and Hector Bellerin and it has been confirmed that the former will remain on the sidelines.
Ceballos picked up his hamstring problem before the international break this month but it seems that he won’t return to action until the backend of December.
Meanwhile, Sead Kolasinac (left hamstring) and Hector Bellerin (tight hamstring) are being assessed ahead of the midweek clash but Emery may not necessarily risk them with the hectic schedule ahead.
With no victories since early October, Emery has received plenty of criticism from the fans and pundits alike, but he continues to earn the support of the board and players.
Still, his days could be numbered and The Telegraph claims that the Spaniard may be dismissed, suppose the club fail to win their next two games against Frankfurt and Norwich City.
With this in mind, the 48-year-old could go with a much stronger team than usual against Frankfurt in order to end the club’s six-match winless streak in all competitions.
