Martin Keown urges Freddie Ljungberg to drop key Arsenal star vs Norwich City

Arsenal legend Martin Keown has said that Freddie Ljungberg should drop David Luiz from the starting lineup when the Gunners face Norwich City on the road this weekend.
The north London giants recently went winless for the seventh game on the bounce and that contributed towards the dismissal of Unai Emery from the head coach role.
Ljungberg has been handed with the interim managerial position ahead of the Canaries clash and Keown believes the Swede should consider one important change at the heart of the defence.
Writing for The Mail, the 53-year-old stated that the Gunners need to find the solidity at the back and he would personally axe Luiz from a starting role against the Canaries on Sunday.
He added that he would personally prefer Calum Chambers partnering Sokratis Papastathopoulos at the heart of the defence with Lucas Torreira in the holding midfield role in front of them.
“Whoever they decide to bring in after Freddie Ljungberg will be inheriting the same problems that Emery failed to fix. Their lack of solidity at the back, for example. For Norwich on Sunday, I’d have David Luiz on the bench. Sokratis and Calum Chambers would be my centre backs and I’d have Lucas Torreira deep in that midfield, patrolling that area in front of them,” he penned.
In the past few games, the Gunners have gone with a three-man backline but Ljungberg could revert to the traditional 4-2-3-1 formation for the away trip to Carrow Road.
Both Luiz and Sokratis have been culpable to making crucial mistakes this term and the Gunners could be better off going with Chambers and Rob Holding in the central defence.
Meanwhile, Nicolas Pepe could make a return to the starting XI after managing less than an hour’s action in the past three games across all competitions.
