Arsenal receive injury boost in Friday’s training session in Dubai
|Arsenal have received an injury boost with Bukayo Saka returning to first-team training after overcoming a minor knee problem sustained against Burnley.
The teenager has regularly started at left-back in recent weeks due to the injury absence of Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney, but he managed to last for only 45 minutes at Turf Moor last weekend.
Saka sustained a knock to his knee during the midway stage of the opening half but he was able to carry on until the interval before Granit Xhaka took up his position.
In the post-match press conference, Arteta said that Saka would be assessed over the past 24 hours and it appears that youngster has overcome the concern.
In a tweet from Emiliano Martinez, it is quite clear that Saka was involved in the opening training session in Dubai on Friday and that is certainly a refreshing sight to see.

Meanwhile, Kolasinac and Reiss Nelson have recovered from thigh and hamstring injuries respectively to participate in full training as anticipated while winter signing Pablo Mari also got his first taste of sharing the training pitch with his fellow Gunners teammates.
Saka is likely to relinquish his left-back position when Kolasinac makes his comeback. It remains to be seen whether the Bosnian is able to gain sufficient fitness in order to make the starting lineup against Newcastle United on February 16.
