Some Arsenal fans think Alexandre Lacazette should be swapped for 26-year-old La Liga star

A selection of Arsenal fans on Twitter believe the club could sign Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid in a straight-swap deal involving Alexandre Lacazette.

Lacazette has experienced an average season with the Gunners this term and he has netted only nine times from 26 appearances while squandering a few clear-cut scoring chances.

Under Mikel Arteta, he was initially a regular starter upfront this year but a few weeks prior to the coronavirus shutdown, he found himself playing second fiddle to Eddie Nketiah for the striker’s role.

As a result, it is claimed (AS) that he could head through the exit door during the off-season and Atletico are understood to be keenly monitoring the situation.

Meanwhile, the Gunners have recently been fancied to sign 26-year-old Thomas Partey from the Spanish outfit and some supporters feel that a swap deal could be on the cards between the sides.
