Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira could leave the club this summer and would entertain interest from Italian teams, according to his agent.
The Uruguay midfielder had the chance to join AC Milan last summer but Arsenal quickly blocked any perspective transfer.
Torreira, 24, fell out of favour under Unai Emery and was been deployed in an unfamiliar attacking role at the start of the season.
His agent Pablo Bentancur admits that Torreira wants to play in Italy again with the former Sampdoria star expected back in training for the Gunners next week.
“I will have to talk to Arsenal,” he told TuttoMercatoWeb. “The player would love to return to Italy, but it must be acknowledged that Arsenal treated him very well and he’s behaved great.”
Torreira sustained an injury during the FA Cup match against Portsmouth in March but is likely to be back in full training imminently, with Premier League games pencilled in to restart by June 12 at the earliest.
