Arsenal players old and new have been contacting supporters over the age of 70 to check on their welfare.
People who are at increased risk of severe illness from coronavirus include those over the age of 70, with many elderly people unable to meet their families in person due to social distancing rules.
It’s understood that the club have also contacted other vulnerable supporters including those with disabilities.
Premier League teams returned to small-group training today with teams able to train at their respective facilities with no-contact rules enforced.
The Gunners became the first team to return to “full training” at the end of April with strict social distancing measures in place.
