Dinos Mavropanos faces potential Arsenal summer exit with Bundesliga clubs interested

Arsenal defender Dinos Mavropanos could potentially depart the club this summer for the Bundesliga following an impressive loan spell at 2. Bundesliga side FC Nurnberg.
The 22-year-old, who joined the German club back in January, has made 10 appearances so far and helped his side keep three clean sheets. The side currently sits five points clear of the relegation zone.
According to GOAL, more than five Bundesliga clubs are interested in signing the Greek defender and could try to sign him permanently once the transfer window opens, this summer.
Mavropanos is reportedly in favour of staying at Arsenal once his loan spell ends but his lack of playing time could be a deciding factor in his decision.
Since joining the London club in January 2018, the 22-year-old has only featured eight times for the senior team. Last season, injuries limited the young defender under former head coach Unai Emery as he fell down the pecking order.
Before leaving on loan, Mavropanos made just one appearance for Arsenal this season, starting in their 2-2 draw versus Belgian side Standard Liege in the Europa League.
Considering the number of defenders Mikel Arteta has at his disposal along with William Saliba’s imminent arrival following his loan spell at AS Saint-Etienne, a summer transfer to the Bundesliga could give the Greek defender regular playing time.
