Arsenal target Dominik Szoboszlai’s transfer fee can be paid in three installments

RB Salzburg’s Dominik Szoboszlai, who has been linked with Arsenal, has a release clause of just under £23 million that the Austrian club would be willing to accept over three installments according to Italian media outlet La Repubblica.

Arsenal, AC Milan and Paris Saint Germain are said to be interested in securing the signature of the Hungarian midfielder. As previously reported, Arsenal and Milan are understood to be ‘well advanced’ in their negotiations with the player and his club.

Szoboszlai started his career in Hungary before moving to Austria. He spent some time at FC Liefering, a feeder club for RB Salzburg before eventually moving to the current Austrian Bundesliga champions.

The 19 year old made his debut for Salzburg in 2018. He has enjoyed a breakthrough season this year. He has scored 10 goals and provided 16 assists in 37 appearances across all competitions for his club.

The player is predominantly a central midfielder but has been played on the left from time to time. He is technically gifted, good in the air and robust in the tackle. He is always looking to make a pass that unlocks opposition defences and is constantly focussed on having a decisive impact on games.

With two years remaining on his contract, RB Salzburg will be keen on resolving his future at the earliest even if that means selling him this summer.
