Arsenal have lodged an ‘important offer’ for Levante midfielder Enis Bardhi, according to Spanish radio station Onda Cero via Football Espana.
It is believed that the Gunners are the only club to have made an offer for the Macedonian international so far but could face competition for his signature from Italian side Fiorentina.
The 24 year old joined Levante from Ujpest in a deal that set the Valencia-based club back just over £1 million in the summer of 2017. The versatile Macedonian has spent a lot of his time at Levante playing on the left wing. He is known for his runs into the middle of the pitch and long range shooting ability.
He has scored 16 goals and provided 10 assists in 95 appearances for the Spanish club. This season, he has scored four goals and provided three assists in 25 appearances in La Liga. During his time at the club, he has been one of the standout performers in the team and this has helped Levante punch above their weight and avoid getting sucked into a relegation battle.
Bardhi made his debut for his country in 2015 in a Euro 2016 qualifier against Belarus. Since then, he has amassed 27 caps for North Macedonia and scored five goals.
