Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in signing Jack Grealish, according to Kaveh Solhekol of Sky Sports via Football Daily.
Jack Grealish led Aston Villa to safety on the final day of the season and has been one of their most important players this year. He is a graduate of the Aston Villa academy and the current captain of the club.
The 24 year old has scored 25 goals and provided 31 assists in 187 games for Aston Villa. This season, he scored ten goals and provided eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.
The Aston Villa skipper is understood to be undecided on his future. He has been linked with a host of clubs. Arsenal are one of the clubs who are interested in signing him.
The Gunners have asked about the player and how much a potential deal could cost. It is believed that they have not followed up on their interest so far but the transfer window has barely started and there is still a long way to go.
The Englishman has three years remaining on his contract and Aston Villa do not want to sell him. If, however, the player made it clear he wanted to leave, they would expect to sell him for £80 million. Several clubs who are interested in Grealish would be willing to pay between £50 and £60 million for his services.
It remains to be seen where Grealish will play his football next season but Arsenal seem to be in the mix.
