Arsenal launch their away kit for the 2020/21 season

Arsenal have launched their away kit for the 2020/21 season.

The new kit features a white, maroon and black design which is inspired by the patterns, colours and motifs found in the famous marble halls of Hibhury’s iconic East Stand. The East Stand was built in 1936 and its facade remains in place even after the Gunners moved from Highbury to the Emirates Stadium in 2006. It is a permanent reminder of Arsenal’s rich and storied past.

The North London club’s new away kit will be worn for the first time on August 22nd when the club plays Paris Saint Germain in the Women’s Champions League quarter final.

In addition to celebrating the famous marble halls of Highbury where Arsenal won thirteen league titles, the kit launch video looks back at the club’s glorious past and looks forward to a promising future. It begins in the iconic east stand entrance and proceeds into an alternative marble world. It paints a picture of how the away shirt came to be by uniting past icons with current heroes of Arsenal football club.

Fans can purchase the Arsenal away jersey starting from today on the club’s online store or at select Adidas stores and retailers.
