Aubameyang’s contract has reportedly been finalised, Gabriel to be announced shortly

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has agreed to sign a new contract with Arsenal, according to Jake Humphrey of BT Sport.

The Arsenal captain has been on the verge of agreeing a new deal with the club and it has been reported for a significant period of time that all that’s remaining is the official announcement.

In recent days, head coach Mikel Arteta has been saying that the deal is close and he is optimistic that the Gabonese striker will sign a new contract with Arsenal. The player has more than just subtly hinted at the fact that he intends to stay in North London for the foreseeable future but as of yet, confirmation of any new deal has not been officially communicated to the fans.

The former Borussia Dortmund striker rejected two bids from other clubs to extend his stay with the Gunners, according to Fabrizio Romano. He looks all set to sign a new three year deal worth roughly £250,000 a week.

Gabriel Magalhaes is an Arsenal player and all that is remaining is an official announcement to communicate the same, according to Mohamed Bouhafsi of RMC Sport. The Gunners have sealed a deal to sign the Brazilian defender from Lille for a fee of £27 million. He is currently in quarantine as he travelled from France, which is on Britain’s quarantine list due to the coronavirus, and is a week away from completing his self isolation, according to Charles Watts of Goal.

It is only a matter of time before Arsenal officially announce both deals.
