Nketiah scores a hattrick for England U21s in 6-0 win over Kosovo

Eddie Nketiah scored a hattrick for the England Under 21 team in a 6-0 win over Kosovo.

The Arsenal striker was the captain of the side for the first time. He played a skipper’s role as he led them to a comfortable victory. Bukayo Saka, who has been nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award, made his debut for the England Under 21 team.

Reiss Nelson came off the bench and scored within four minutes of being on the pitch. Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham and Tottenham’s Ryan Sessegnon were the other goalscorers.

The Arsenal trio starred in today’s game against Kosovo. Nketiah has scored eleven goals for England’s Under 21 team in just nine appearances. Nelson has scored six goals in eleven games for the side. Saka will definitely be among the goals and assists in the near future with his time in the team just starting.

England are the table toppers in their group as they look to seal qualification for next year’s European Under-21 Championship which will take place in Hungary and Slovenia. They will face Austria, who are three points behind them, in their next qualifier on September 9th. A win will consolidate their position at the top of their group.
