Arsenal’s Tyreece John-Jules has joined English third division side Doncaster Rovers on a season long loan.
The Arsenal academy graduate joined the Gunners at the age of eight. He has risen up the ranks to become one of the most exciting youth prospects at the club.
He scored eight goals in thirteen appearances for the Arsenal Under 23 side last season and spent the second half of the campaign on loan at third division side Lincoln City. He scored one goal in seven appearances for the club’s senior team but suffered an injury in March and had to return to North London.
The 19 year old was part of Arsenal’s first team squad for the home game against Chelsea in the Premier League last season as well as the FA Cup third round match against Leeds United. He played in Arsenal’s friendly during last season’s winter break against Al Nasr Dubai FC. He was in the matchday squad for the recent Community Shield victory over Liverpool.
John-Jules is an England Under 19 international and has made four appearances for the side. He has represented England at various age groups from the Under 16s right through to the Under 19s. He will hope to do well at Doncaster this season so that he can push for a place in the Arsenal first team in the near future.
