Bukayo Saka and Ainsley Maitland-Niles have been included in England’s squad for their upcoming games against Wales, Belgium and Denmark.
Maitland-Niles was included in the last England squad and he retains his spot in the team. He made his debut for England in their game against Denmark in September and will be looking to add to his tally of England caps.
Saka, who was included in the England Under-21 squad for the first time in the last international break, has received his inaugural call up to the senior side. The 18 year old has represented England at various age groups right from the Under-16 side to the Under-21 team.
Both players are Arsenal academy graduates and have flourished under manager Mikel Arteta. Maitland-Niles seemed to be set for an exit earlier in the summer but has been an important part of the Arsenal first team so far this season. He has started two out of the first three Premier League games for the Gunners this season.
Saka has made one start so far in the Premier League but is expected to play an important role for the North London side this season. Both players starred in Arsenal’s Community Shield victory over Liverpool at the start of the season.
