Ceballos available for Arsenal this weekend, Willian trains ahead of game against Leicester

Dani Ceballos will be available for Arsenal this weekend, according to Chris Wheatley of Football.London. Willian, who could require a late fitness test, trained with the squad in their final session ahead of the game against Leicester this Sunday in a boost to manager Mikel Arteta.

Willian and Ceballos missed out on the Gunners’ opening Europa League game against Rapid Vienna on Thursday and hadn’t trained with the squad prior to today. The Brazilian has started every Premier League game this season for the North London club while the Spaniard has started three of the first five games in the league.

William Saliba, Shkodran Mustafi and Callum Chambers also trained with the first team today. Saliba is yet to play a minute of competitive football for the club this season. He was close to joining former club Saint Etienne on loan on deadline day but the deal fell through due to time constraints. He is not a part of Arsenal’s Europa League squad but was included in their Premier League squad.

Mustafi was on the bench against Rapid Vienna and could get some minutes for the first time this season after recovering from an injury he suffered in the closing stages of the FA Cup semi final against Manchester City in July.

Callum Chambers has recovered from an anterior cruciate ligament injury he sustained against Chelsea in December 2019. He is likely to be eased back to full fitness.
