Huss Fahmy set to leave Arsenal
Arsenal have decided to part ways with their director of football operations Huss Fahmy.
Arsenal have been reshaping the club hierarchy in the recent months and Huss Fahmy will be the latest high profile exit.
The Arsenal chief is all set to leave the London club within the next month and the in-house legal team will fill the void left by him.
Huss Fahmy has been at Arsenal for three years and he was in charge of contract negotiations.
According to a report from Standard, Huss Fahmy’s power was set to be limited under the new structure and therefore he has decided to leave the Premier League club on amicable terms.
The Arsenal chief played a key role in the signing of William Saliba last season and his incentivised performance related model has been a big success for the London club.
Arsenal have overseen numerous changes on and off the pitch over the last few months and they need a bit of stability now. They are going through a rebuild and it will be interesting to see if the likes of Arteta and Edu can guide them towards a brighter future.
