Arsenal add Patino, Hutchinson and Monlouis to Europa League squad

Arsenal have added Charlie Patino, Omari Hutchinson and Zane Monlouis to their Europa League squad, according to Jeorge Bird

The youth players are highly rated by the North London club and could be in line to make their first team debut for the Gunners in Europe this season. Patino is 17 years old and manager Mikel Arteta is known to be a huge admirer of the precocious young talent. He was invited to train with the first team in January.

He recently signed professional terms with Arsenal as did Monlouis.

Hutchinson, who recently turned 17, is yet to officially sign a deal with the North London side but his inclusion in their European squad is confirmation of the fact that an announcement can be expected soon.

Patino has flourished in the Under-18 side this season and is expected to feature for the Under-23s as the campaign progresses. Monlouis can play in central defence as well as at left back. He has also featured for the Under-18s but has struggled with injury related problems. Hutchinson generally plays as an attacking midfielder or winger but can also play at left back when required.

Hutchinson has been handed the number 86 shirt while Monlouis will wear the number 89 and Patino the number 91.
