Arsenal are interested in re-signing academy product Yunus Musah from Valencia, according to Spanish media outlet AS via HITC.
The 17 year old left Arsenal in the summer of 2019 to join Valencia. He played for their reserves in the 2019/20 season and after the arrival of new manager Javi Gracia, he trained with the senior squad ahead of the current campaign. Musah made his first team debut against Levante in September and has made nine appearances for the Spanish side this season.
The right winger, who can also play in central midfield, has been one of Valencia’s most impressive players so far this season. In November, he scored his first goal for Los Che, becoming the youngest foreign player to score for Valencia.
The Spanish side plan on offering him a five year deal as soon as he turns 18. The club had to sell a number of first team players like Dani Parejo, Francis Coquelin and Ferran Torres in the summer due to financial problems but are intent on keeping Musah at the Mestalla.
The Gunners are exploring the idea of bringing the player back to the Emirates but are not alone in showing an interest in the player. Leeds United, Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also reported to be keen on the 17 year old, according to 90Min.
