Arsenal and Newcastle have found an agreement for Joe Willock to join the Magpies on loan for the rest of the season, according to Sky Sports.
Reiss Nelson appears to have confirmed Willock’s move to Newcastle on Instagram, according to Chris Wheatley of football.london.
The Gunners sanctioned this move earlier in the day after Newcastle made an approach for the player. The decision was left to Willock and the Arsenal academy product has made the decision to make the move to St. James’ Park and get regular game time.
This season, the 21-year-old has scored three goals and provided three appearances in 18 appearances for the North London club across all competitions. He has put in a number of impressive performances in the Europa League but has found opportunities in the Premier League tough to come by and has started just two league games.

Willock has been on top of Newcastle manager Steve Bruce’s wishlist and it looks like he has gotten his man. The loan agreement between the two clubs does not contain a purchase option or obligation.
The 21-year-old is highly rated by the Gunners and they are keen on letting him get regular game time so that he can continue his development and push for a place in the Arsenal first team next season.
