Aubameyang and Saka return to full training
|Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Bukayo Saka have returned to full training ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League game against Wolves on Tuesday.
The news of the duo’s return to training will come as a huge boost to manager Mikel Arteta. Aubameyang missed the Gunners’ last three games due to his mother’s health. In great news, his mother is now feeling better and this has allowed the North London club’s captain to return to training.
He had to follow safety protocols ahead of his return to training as he left the country to be with his mother. The Gabon international has not trained for the last week and so it is unclear if he will start the game at the Molineux tomorrow.
Saka suffered a minor hip injury which caused him to miss Arsenal’s 0-0 draw against Manchester United at the Emirates. He has now returned to full training and will be assessed ahead of the clash with Wolves on Tuesday.
Kieran Tierney continues to have discomfort in his right lower leg and will miss Arsenal’s next Premier League game. It is expected that Cedric Soares will continue to deputise for the Scotland international.
Dani Ceballos and Pablo Mari have both returned to full training after recovering from their respective injuries and will be assessed ahead of Tuesday’s Premier League game. Mat Ryan is recovering from a hip injury and will be unavailable for the game against Wolves.
