Tierney and Saka’s goals against West Brom nominated for Premier League Goal of the Month

Kieran Tierney and Bukayo Saka’s goals against West Bromwich Albion in Arsenal’s 4-0 Premier League victory at the Hawthorns have been nominated for the Premier League Goal of the Month for January.

The Scotland international opened the scoring for the Gunners with a wonderful solo effort. He beat his marker twice before curling a right-footed shot into the top corner.

His celebration after scoring the goal was full of passion and won over the hearts of Gooners who already adore he 23-year-old. This was Tierney’s second goal for the club since moving to the Emirates from Scottish side Celtic for £25 million in the summer of 2019.

Saka scored Arsenal’s second of the night in a well worked team goal that involved beautiful linkup play between the 19-year-old, Emile Smith-Rowe and Alexandre Lacazette.

The Arsenal academy graduate has been in exceptional form this season which has seen him score five goals and provide four assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.
