Saka names Martinelli as the Premier League’s paciest young player

Bukayo Saka has named Gabriel Martinelli as the paciest young player in the Premier League. He did so in an interview with the Premier League

He talked about how relentless the Brazilian attacker is on the pitch. On Martinelli, he said:

“Just watch him play and press, the way he goes he doesn’t stop. He’s not only just fast, he can also run a long distance and get faster. It’s not just his pace it’s his engine as well. It’s crazy. It’s like he’s got a battery pack on his back.”

The 19-year-old has said that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Mesut Ozil were his favorite Arsenal players to watch as a fan. He talked about how Lacazette and Aubameyang were the players who were scoring goals every week and named the Gunners’ 4-2 Premier League victory over fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur in December 2018 as his favourite game to have watched at the Emirates.

He named Manchester United youngster Mason Greenwood as the best young player in the league when it comes to shooting. He commented on the player’s ability to shoot with both feet and named this as one of his best qualities. 

The Arsenal academy product picked himself as the best young dribbler in the Premier League. 

He named Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka as the best young defender in England and said that the 23-year-old is rarely beaten on the pitch. 

Saka named Chelsea’s Reece James as the most physical young player in the league. He talked about how strong, powerful and technically astute he is. He commented on the 21-year-old’s ability to play not just as a right back but also in midfield. 

He named Arsenal teammate Emile Smith-Rowe and Manchester City wonderkid Phil Foden as the best young passers in the country. He lauded the way Smith-Rowe has settled into the Arsenal first team and talked about how patient the player was for his opportunity. 

He discussed how Smith-Rowe took the chances he got effectively and showed the kind of impact he can have on the team. Saka said that Smith-Rowe is a livewire and is always looking to run into space and creating opportunities for the rest of the team.

Arsenal’s number 7 named Rob Holding as the player with the best music taste in the dressing room. He said the English central defender is in control of the music for the Gunners first team.
