Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher slammed Tottenham Hotspur and England captain, Harry Kane, for his performance in the 3-1 loss to Arsenal on Sunday.

The Sky Sports pundit claimed that Ben White pocketed the Spurs captain throughout the game. “Harry Kane, not at the races, really not acceptable, his performance in that game. He got bullied by Ben White,” Carragher remarked.

Arsenal bought White for £50 million on a five-year deal from Brighton & Hove Albion in July. So far, the defender has been impressive as a Gunner.

The Gunners have had a drastic change in their performance ever since Arteta started his new signings (Aaron Ramsdale, White and Tomiyasu Takehiro) in Premier League showdowns.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka were the scorers in the North London derby. Son Heung-min got a consolation goal for the visitors in the 80th minute, but it was too little too late by then.

Tottenham fans are not a happy bunch to see their club struggling under Nuno Santo. They are ranked 11th in the league and the captain hasn’t yet opened his goal-scoring account.

They are scheduled to play Aston Villa on Sunday. At home, Kane and co are the favourites to beat Villa and get the three points they have been looking for.
