Arsenal fans react as Gunners trio have memorable night on England duty

Some Arsenal fans were pleased for Emile Smith Rowe, Bukayo Saka and Aaron Ramsdale, who were part of England’s stunning 10-0 win over San Marino last night.

Smith Rowe was handed his full Three Lions debut yesterday from the left wing, having made his international bow off the bench against Albania last week.

The 21-year-old had a fantastic game, registering an assist for Harry Kane’s second goal in the 31st minute before bagging his debut goal in the second half.

Smith Rowe came up with a poacher’s finish before the hour mark after the ball was put on the plate for him with a clever backward flick by Tammy Abraham.

Meanwhile, Saka continued to excel on international duty. He started at left wing-back. His 15th-minute shot paved the way for Filippo Fabbri’s own unfortunate goal.

Saka completed the 10-0 rout for the Three Lions in the 79th minute. He diverted Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross with a header after being left unmarked in the box.

It was a memorable night for the Gunners’ attacking duo. While England were always expected to win comfortably, the pair’s confidence will have been boosted.

Aaron Ramsdale was also in action for the Three Lions. He was handed his senior debut, having waited patiently on the bench. He got the nod over Sam Johnstone.

The 23-year-old had a comfortable game between the sticks with just one save. It was still a well-earned debut, having been excellent in goal for the Gunners this term.

Some Gunners fans were delighted for the trio on Twitter, and here is how they reacted. A few aimed a cheeky dig at Harry Kane due to his Tottenham Hotspur link.
