Fabrizio Romano drops huge double Moises Caicedo claim that Arsenal fans need to see
|Arsenal have reportedly made a new bid for Brighton star Moises Caicedo, this time worth £70 million.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano who claims that the bid by Arsenal includes add-ons.
However, Brighton do not want to sell Caicedo in the January transfer window, and Romano claims that they have rejected the Gunners’ bid.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal go back in for Caicedo before tomorrow’s transfer deadline with doubts around Thomas Partey’s rib problem, I suspect they probably will do…

Caicedo is a truly unbelievable player, and will go on to become a world-class Premier League star, I have no doubt about that.
Whether the Gunners will be prepared to pay £80 million or more for the Ecuadorian remains to be seen though. Nicolas Pepe is the club’s current record transfer, and that fee will be smashed if Arteta brings Caicedo to the Emirates.
However, the 21-year-old Brighton star could be the signing that gets Arsenal over the line in the race for the Premier League title this season.
So if the Gunners sign Moises Caicedo for around £80 million or more and it helps them win the league title, he’ll be well worth that fee. All Arsenal fans will be keenly tuned into Romano’s Twitter account over the next 41 hours, that’s for sure!

Too higher risk imo….80 million for a relatively raw player who has had a good 30 games….reality is, we need to improve what we’re doing finding this sort of talent like Brighton do….picking up great prospects at 1, 2 million who then blossom or get punted….
