Wolves striker Hwang Hee-chan says Arsenal have the loudest fans in the Premier League
|Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Hwang Hee-chan has claimed that Arsenal have the loudest fans in the Premier League.
The South Korean international moved to England from RB Leipzig in 2021 and has scored against the Gunners.
Hwang pounced on a mistake by Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes to give his team the lead in an eventual 2-1 loss at the Emirates Stadium in February 2022.

The 27-year-old returned to the north London club’s home ground last month, with his side suffering a 5-0 defeat.
Hwang has been at other grounds, but he insists the home support at the Emirates left a lasting impression on him.
“Away Stadium. Arsenal was good, Liverpool and Manchester City also was good,” the exit-linked Wolves star told Goal.
Asked who were the noisiest fans, he replied: “I think Arsenal. I would say Arsenal.”
The Gunners secured 14 wins out of their total 26 victories at home, losing twice and drawing thrice.
They turned the Emirates into a fortress and manager Mikel Arteta will hope they can do better next term.
Arsenal were on top of the Premier League table for 248 days before caving in to pressure in the last month of the campaign.
They plan to go one better next season, and their fans have a huge role to play.
Liverpool’s home ground Anfield is popular for being a hostile place for visiting teams, and the Emirates needs to become such too.
Arsenal will be playing in the Champions League next season and could be welcoming some elite clubs to their ground.
Their supporters will need to make life difficult for the visiting players and continuously spur their side on.
The fans were very supportive of their players this term, cheering them on until the final day.
Manchester City proved too much to beat to the title, but it takes nothing away from the incredible campaign Arsenal had.
