Jorginho wants to remain at Arsenal despite interest from Lazio, reports the Evening Standard.

Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri is eyeing a reunion with the Italy international midfielder, but the player is not keen on leaving north London.

Arsenal are plotting an overhaul of their midfield and recently tabled a £90 million bid for West Ham United captain Declan Rice.

However, Jorginho is set to survive manager Mikel Arteta’s cull, and has told friends he is comfortable in London and wants to make a success of his stay at Arsenal.

The Gunners are looking to offload Thomas Partey instead of the 31-year-old.

Jorginho has 12 months left on his deal, and there is an option of another 12 months.
