View: Has Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun just dropped Inter Milan hint via social media post?

Inter Milan want to sign Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun and it appears that the feeling is mutual.

The United States international spent last term on loan at Ligue 1 club Reims, attracting suitors after bagging 22 goals across all competitions for the French club.

Balogun is keen to leave Arsenal as he is behind both Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah in the pecking order, and he has told the club he does not want to leave on loan again.

The Gunners are willing to cash out on their academy graduate, and talks have been ongoing with Inter.

Balogun took to his Instagram stories today to show a picture of himself watching the highlights of legendary Brazilian hitman Ronaldo during his glory days at Inter.

The former striker also played for the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and AC Milan, and Balogun could have shared a picture of the South American playing for one of those clubs.

However, he opted to post the one where Ronaldo was donning an Inter Jersey, which could not have been a coincidence.

Arsenal want at least £45 million for Balogun, but Inter are yet to meet their demands and have recently offered a total package of £30m to sign him.

The Gunners are likely to demand more for their academy graduate as they believe he has huge potential.

Inter were keeping tabs on West Ham United striker Gianluca Scamacca but Atalanta appear to have pipped them to his signature and they are now back for Folarin.

The American is eager to prove himself in one of the best clubs in Europe, but Inter will need to offer a tangible bid if they are serious about recruiting his services.
