Arsenal midfielder Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand set to join FC Den Bosch
|Arsenal youth player Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand is set to join Dutch side FC Den Bosch on loan until the end of the season, according to journalist Chris Wheatley.
The midfielder, 20, is currently undergoing
the final stages of his recovery from injury before heading to the Netherlands to join the Eerste Divisie outfit.
Former Arsenal head of emerging talent Yousuf Sajjad is the technical director at Den Bosch and has already brought Hale End academy graduate Gedion Zelalem to the Dutch second-division club.
Salah is yet to make his first-team debut for the Gunners but was named on the bench nine times in 2021-22 and made 21 appearances for the under-23s.
The midfielder was sidelined for the majority of 2020-21 following a stress fracture he suffered near his ankle.
A knock has also kept him out of action over the last six months, with Arsenal recalling him from his loan spell at Championship side Hull City in December.
Salah was unable to make an appearance for the Tigers due to a groin injury picked up last summer and has continued his rehabilitation at the North London club.
Arsenal under-18 head coach Jack Wilshere once named Salah as a player to watch out for at the club, dubbing him ‘really good’, and a move back to the Netherlands could do him the world of good as he looks to put his injury woes behind him.
The former teenage sensation will be dreaming of becoming a key player for the Gunners first-team going forward, and he will need to impress at Den Bosch to have a chance of catching the attention of manager Mikel Arteta.
Salah will have to play regularly at the Dutch club for his development to continue, and Sajjad will be keen for his side to get the best out of him.
