Confirmed Arsenal line-up vs Everton, 2 big changes

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made two big changes to the starting line-up for today’s Premier League clash against Everton at Goodison Park.

The Gunners returned to winning ways before the international break with a terrific 3-1 comeback win over Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium.

Arteta will be aiming for a fourth victory of the season at Goodison, but the Gunners will have to end their hoodoo at the stadium to come on top.

Arsenal have suffered defeats in the last three trips to the Toffees. They have picked up just one point from the past five encounters at Everton.

Hopefully, the dreadful streak will come to an end today. Ahead of the game, the manager has made two huge changes to the starting XI.

We had anticipated Gabriel Jesus to get the nod over Eddie Nketiah up front, but Arteta has kept the faith on the Englishman against the Toffees.

The major changes are in midfield and in goal. David Raya has been handed his Gunners debut between the sticks ahead of Aaron Ramsdale.

This is a huge surprise for us. Meanwhile, Fabio Vieira has been rewarded with a maiden start of the season after impressing of the bench.

Vieira won a penalty and assisted Nketiah’s goal against Fulham. He replicated the feat with a lovely assist for Jesus’ goal versus United this month.

The Portuguese has been rewarded for his efforts with a starting role ahead of Kai Havertz, who has looked short in form and confidence.

Confirmed Arsenal line-up (4-3-3): David Raya; Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Oleksandr Zinchenko; Declan Rice, Fabio Vieira, Martin Odegaard; Bukayo Saka, Eddie Nketiah, Gabriel Martinelli.
