Confirmed Arsenal line-up vs Sevilla

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made one change to the starting line-up for tonight’s Champions League group stage clash against Sevilla on the road.

The Gunners dropped points at the weekend after a 2-2 Premier League draw at Chelsea. They were trailing 2-0 in the 76th minute, but made a terrific late comeback after goals from Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard.

Arteta will be eyeing a return to winning ways tonight. Ahead of the game, he has opted to make one change to the XI. Oleksandr Zinchenko has dropped to the bench. Takehiro Tomiyasu has replaced him at left-back.

Confirmed Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1): David Raya; Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Takehiro Tomiyasu; Jorginho, Declan Rice; Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli; Gabriel Jesus.

Arsenal started their Champions League campaign in fine fashion with a 4-0 win over PSV Eindhoven at home. However, they failed to replicate the performance at Lens with a 2-1 loss.

Arteta will be hoping for a much better showing against the Europa League holders tonight. It won’t be an easy challenge, but they need a victory to put themselves in a solid position to make the next round.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have good news on the bench with Fabio Vieira and Aaron Ramsdale back in the mix, but Thomas Partey is not involved. He has been ruled out with a muscle injury.

The Ghanaian has yet to start for the Gunners since recovering from a groin problem. Hopefully, the latest setback is a minor one and he will be available against Sheffield United this weekend.
