Mikel Arteta can finally start his best Arsenal attack vs Brentford

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has the opportunity to pick his best front four when the Gunners face Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.

The north London giants have made a good start to the top-flight campaign and they are presently just one point behind Manchester City for the top spot.

The club have the opportunity to pile the pressure and leapfrog the Cityzens after the international break and they have been handed a timely injury boost.

Odegaard is back in team training after missing the last few games due to concussion and he should be drafted straight into the starting line-up this weekend.

Arteta tried to experiment with Kai Havertz from the number 10 position, but the German hardly impressed and lacked the cutting edge to his game play.

Fabio Vieira and Emile Smith Rowe are the other options at the manager’s disposal, but neither of them are available due to a suspension and a knee injury respectively.

Hence, it looks quite clear that the captain should return to the fray. The Norwegian has netted five goals and provided one assist from 15 appearances this term.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka are nailed-on starters on the left and right wing.

Up front, we would go with Leandro Trossard on recent form. Gabriel Jesus bagged a goal and an assist versus Sevilla on the road but got himself injured in the same game.

He was back from a hamstring injury for Brazil’s World Cup qualifier against Argentina, but the forward could be eased into the proceedings after his recent absence.

Trossard deserves to lead the line on the back of three goal contributions in the last two games for the club. The quartet form Arsenal’s best attack at the moment.
