Juventus to offer Moise Kean in part exchange deal for Charlie Patino

Serie A giants Juventus are prepared to offer Moise Kean in a part-exchange deal to sign Arsenal midfielder Charlie Patino this winter, according to Tuttosport.

Earlier this month, market intermediary Michele Fratini revealed that the Bianconeri are keeping tabs on Patino’s progress. They are now lining up a formal approach.

The Gunners currently value their graduate at €20 million, but Tuttosport claim that the Turin giants are not in a good financial position to afford the fee this winter.

Instead, they plan to propose a part-exchange deal with Kean moving in the opposite direction.

The Bianconeri are aiming to sign the 20-year-old at the earliest possibility, considering Inter Milan also have an interest in landing the England Under-21 international.

Tuttosport highlight the proposal as a ‘sensational exchange’.

Arsenal unlikely to accept Juventus’ proposal for Patino

Patino was much fancied to leave the Gunners permanently last summer, but he ended up returning to the Championship on loan with Swansea City.

The midfielder has impressed for the Swans with three goals and four assists from 19 appearances, and the Gunners may prefer him to see out the season with them.

The hierarchy had a similar stance on Folarin Balogun during his loan stint at Reims. They ended up selling him for a good fee to Monaco earlier this summer.

We could see something similar happening with Patino whose contract expires in June 2025.

It is unlikely that the Gunners will accept the Bianconeri’s proposal. Kean has struggled in front of goal this term and has yet to make any contribution this season.

Arsenal are already misfiring in front of goal and the last thing they would want is to sign another striker, who has been lacking confidence in the final third this term.
