Arsenal confirm festive period fixture changes for TV coverage

Arsenal are the tenth highest revenue-generating football club in 2022-23 after recording a revenue of £463.1 million (€532.6m), an increase of £96m over the last year, according to the 27th and latest edition of the Deloitte Football Money League.

The annual profile of the highest revenue-generating clubs in world football remains the industry’s most reliable independent analysis of the top-earning clubs.

Arsenal are behind Manchester City (2nd), Manchester United (5th), Liverpool (7th), Tottenham Hotspur (8th) and Chelsea (9th) in the list of the highest revenue-generating football clubs in the Premier League for last season, remaining in 10th place in the overall list for the second season running.

The Gunners made £367.1m (€433.5m) back in 2021-22, and they experienced an increase in their broadcasting, matchday and commercial revenues over the next 12 months which followed.

Arsenal made €118m in matchday revenue, €220m in broadcasting revenue and €195m in commercial revenue for 2022-23.

They finished second in the Premier League despite leading for 248 days and were eliminated in the round of 16 of the Europa League by Sporting CP.

Arsenal were dumped out of the Carabao Cup by Brighton & Hove Albion in the third round at Emirates Stadium and were eliminated in the fourth round of the FA Cup by Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium having also played the third round away from home against Oxford United.

Their 51% wages/revenue ratio was their lowest in five seasons last term, and their revenue is expected to increase this season having returned to the Champions League after six seasons.

The North Londoners have been eliminated by West Ham United in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup away from home after they defeated Brentford in the third round at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Arsenal entered the FA Cup in the third round and were drawn at home to Liverpool but lost 2-0.

Having finished top of their group, the Gunners booked a place in the round of 16 of the Champions League, where they will meet FC Porto next month.

They are currently third in the Premier League after 21 games, with five points between them and leaders Liverpool.
