Juventus chief has an eye on Arsenal youngster Charlie Patino

Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has his sights on signing Arsenal midfielder Charlie Patino in future, according to Calciomercato.it.

The Bianconeri have changed their transfer policy since the arrival of Giuntoli. They are focused on pursuing young talents with potential.

Patino is one of the players on their radar and it was recently reported that they had sent scouts to monitor him against Morecambe.

The Bianconeri are said to be following the youngster for a long time. It is suggested that the Serie A outfit could make a future offer.

Patino could leave Arsenal this summer

The youngster was expected to leave Arsenal on a permanent basis last summer, as per David Ornstein.

There were offers from clubs in England and abroad, but the Gunners managed to convince him to go out on another loan spell in the Championship.

Patino has eight goal contributions from 24 games for the Swans, but it remains uncertain whether the 20-year-old has a future under Mikel Arteta.

If he has no assurance of regular game time, a permanent exit could be on the cards this summer.

Arsenal may have no other choice, given his contract expires in June 2025. Juventus could emerge as his next destination, but they won’t get him on the cheap.

It has previously been reported that the club are eyeing at least €20m for his sale.

Patino may not be the only graduate heading for the exit door this summer. Emile Smith Rowe could contemplate a move if he continues to struggle for minutes.

The 23-year-old has played just 266 minutes this term. The Gunners recently snubbed a loan proposal from West Ham. There could be more interest in the summer.
