Arsenal are keeping tabs on Eintracht Frankfurt centre-back Willian Pacho and midfielder Hugo Larsson

Arsenal are interested in recruiting the services of Eintracht Frankfurt centre-back Willian Pacho and midfielder Hugo Larsson, according to German outlet Bild.

As reported by Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Tottenham Hotspur also have a strong interest in Pacho and have scouted him on a couple of occasions.

Liverpool, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Napoli have also shown interest in recruiting the services of the Ecuadorian defender, and Arsenal have a huge battle on their hands to have a chance of landing him.

Pacho joined the Bundesliga club from Royal Antwerp for €9 million last summer but will only be sold for around €60m next summer as he still has four years remaining on his contract.

The 22-year-old has played every minute of the Bundesliga this season and is ranked third in the league for clearances (93) and sixth for interceptions (29).

Arsenal will be getting a quality centre-back in the South American but may not look to strengthen their ranks in central defence given their current options in the position.

However, midfield is a department they are looking to bolster and a move for Larsson could be on the cards in the summer.

The 19-year-old has impressed since joining Eintracht from Malmo for €9m last summer, putting in some eye-catching performances against the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.

Arsenal have been attracted to Larsson but will face competition from Liverpool for his services.

The German club are unwilling to lose such a talented midfielder after just a season, and they believe that they can eventually sell him for €80m given his huge potential.

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal have plans to go after the Swede and Pacho in the summer, but they could be spending up to €140m on the duo and it will be intriguing to see whether they firm up their interests with concrete bids.
