Confirmed Arsenal line-up vs Burnley
|Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made no changes to the starting line-up for today’s Premier League clash against Burnley at Turf Moor.
The Gunners are currently on a four-match winning run in the top-flight and they have the opportunity to secure another win against the Clarets.
Ahead of the game, Arteta has named an unchanged team from the comfortable 6-0 victory over West Ham United at the London Stadium.
David Raya starts in goal with Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and Jakub Kiwior making up the defence for the north London side.
The midfield will comprise of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard. The latter is expected to play higher up from the number 10 position.
In the front line, Leandro Trossard will lead the attack with Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli either side.
While they are no changes to the starting line-up, there is good news on the injury front with Emile Smith Rowe back on the bench after a minor issue.
The Gunners graduate twisted his ankle in the lead-up to the Hammers trip, but he has returned in time to make the matchday squad this afternoon.
Confirmed Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Burnley: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Kiwior; Rice, Havertz; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Trossard.
As things stand, Arsenal are five points adrift of leaders Liverpool in the table. They have the chance to reduce the deficit to two points with a fifth successive league win.
This would create a new record for the Gunners. They have never won their opening five league games at the start of the calendar year in their long footballing history.
