Confirmed Arsenal line-up vs Bayern Munich

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made two changes to the starting line-up for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich.

The north London giants are currently on a two-match winning streak and they will be aiming to continue the run against Thomas Tuchel’s side at the Emirates Stadium.

Ahead of the game tonight, Arteta has made two changes from the 3-0 win at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Oleksandr Zinchenko has been dropped to the bench with Jakub Kiwior getting the nod at left-back.

The Pole was in fantastic form for the Gunners before the international break. There are no surprises that he has been selected ahead of Zinchenko and Takehiro Tomiyasu.

The other change comes in attack with Gabriel Martinelli picked ahead of Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard on the left wing. The rest of the team remains the same.

Confirmed Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Bayern Munich: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Kiwior; Jorginho, Rice; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Havertz.

Arsenal have had a rough time against Bayern in the last three meetings. They have lost 5-1 in each one of those. Arteta’s side have the chance to avenge those results.

Bayern are currently not in the best of form with two successive defeats, but they can’t be underestimated. Arsenal need to play at their best to come on top.

A solid win in the first leg would be beneficial ahead of a testing trip to Munich next week.
