Alan Shearer singles out Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz for praise following Arsenal 3-2 win vs Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal retained their position at the top of the Premier League table on Sunday following a 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur away from home, and they will hope to win their remaining three games and pray Manchester City drop points for them to win the title.
Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer was impressed with the performances of Gunners attacking duo Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka against Spurs, showering praise on them in his Team of the Week column.
“Unplayable at times,” the former striker wrote concerning the England international.
“Assisted the first goal and did very well to score the Gunners’ second, taking on Ben Davies before calmly slotting the ball past Guglielmo Vicario.
Havertz has been in fine form in recent months following a tough start to his Arsenal career following his arrival from Chelsea last summer, and he has proven his detractors wrong so far.
“Another wonderful performance,” Shearer continued.
“Often dropping deep to link play and bringing his wingers into action as he assisted Saka.
“He also scored the third goal which ultimately ended up being the winner.”
Saka has 15 goals and nine assists in 33 Premier League games so far, while Havertz has bagged 12 goals and six assists in 34 league appearances, and their displays in the North London derby were incredible.
They have been involved in more league goals individually than their teammates, which is not surprising given the quality they bring to the table.
Havertz has had to work hard to prove his quality, and he has now notched his most league goals and assists in a season since moving to the Premier League in the summer of 2020.
He will be desperate to win his first-ever league title as a professional footballer this term, and Arsenal have to pick up all available points when they take on Bournemouth, Manchester United and Everton to have a chance.
