Arsenal pre-season friendlies: Final USA schedule announced plus two more games at the Emirates Stadium

Arsenal are set to play five pre-season friendlies before they begin their 2024-25 Premier League campaign.

The Gunners, like several other English clubs, will travel to the United States this summer.

The North London giants recently announced they will play their first fixture against Bournemouth at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles on Thursday, July 25.

Their second match of the US tour will see them in action against Manchester United on Sunday, July 28 at SoFi Stadium followed by another blockbuster clash with Liverpool in Philadelphia at the Lincoln Financial Field on August 1.

Arsenal’s calendar upon their return home is also packed, with Bayer Leverkusen scheduled to meet them at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, August 7.

Mikel Arteta’s side will then host Lyon in the Emirates Cup on Saturday, August 11 in their final preseason fixture.

Arteta will hope to use their pre-season games to build momentum and fine-tune their squad ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

The Spanish boss has completely changed the fortunes of the club but he once again failed to clinch the Premier League title last season.

Despite playing excellent football throughout the campaign, they ultimately fell short by two points as Manchester City won an unprecedented fourth straight title.

Arteta and his team will aim to end City’s domestic dominance in 2024-25 and claim their first league triumph since 2004.
