Arsenal eye move for Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman

Arsenal are keen on signing Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Kingsley Coman ahead of the summer transfer deadline on Friday night, according to the Daily Mail.
The Gunners want to strengthen their options at the front to further boost their chances of winning the Premier League title in 2024-25, and the 28-year-old Frenchman has emerged as a target.
However, Arsenal face competition from Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal for the services of Coman, and convincing the Bayern star to join them could be tricky.
The former Paris Saint-Germain forward currently earns in the region of £300,000-per-week at the Bundesliga club, and the North London club could struggle to meet his personal demands, especially with the riches of the Middle East also on the table for him.
The likes of Riyad Mahrez and Sadio Mane earn double the wages Coman gets at Bayern, and moving there could be very appealing having won it all in European football.
The Arsenal target has won 11 league titles across PSG, Juventus and Bayern, with a Champions League title to his name.
The Gunners are challenging for the Premier League title again after finishing behind Manchester City in each of the last two campaigns, and moving to England to prove his quality could be an option Coman wants to consider.
The France international has 64 goals and 66 assists in 296 games for the Germans, and the North London club could do with such a forward.
While Coman plays on both wings, he prefers lining up on the left, and adding such an attacker to their ranks could help Arsenal further get the best out of Gabriel Martinelli given the fierce competition his arrival will bring.
