Mikel Arteta has another undroppable star after fine display vs PSG

Arsenal registered their first victory of the Champions League season with a 2-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.

The Gunners were by far the dominant side in the opening half. They deservedly raced into a 2-0 lead before the half-time interval.

Leandro Trossard played a crucial part in the opener. The Belgian star delivered a perfectly-timed cross for Kai Havertz’s headed goal.

Aside from his assist, the 29-year-old won an impressive six duels and completed 100% of his take-ons.

Trossard looked a threat in the box with his late runs and came close to scoring a goal of his own.

The former Brighton & Hove Albion man has been a revelation since joining the Gunners last year.

He has been fantastic over the last two seasons and has continued his bright form this campaign.

Trossard scored a crucial opening goal at Villa Park last month with his first touch of the game.

He was unfortunately sent off at Manchester City, but made amends against Leicester City.

The attacker scored and induced an own goal from Wilfred Ndidi for the stoppage time winner.

He made another big impression yesterday with a quality assist for Havertz to open the scoring.

In our opinion, the £21 million signing is undroppable with Martin Odegaard on the sidelines.

He has caught the eye with his performances from the number 10 role since the international break.

Gabriel Martinelli will need to consistently impress from the left wing as he could lose his starting spot to Trossard once Odegaard returns from his ankle injury.
